We Do Docks specializes in custom high-quality Canadian-made docks. Started in 2020 by John Armstrong, with over 15 years of industry experience. We provide our customers with the waterfront experience of their dreams, by working closely with you to find solutions that meet your needs and fit within your budget. We provide a personal experience for all of our customers from first contact right through to our in-person delivery.

My love for cottage life is what began my journey of dock building when my family needed ours replaced at the cottage. I went searching and found many of good quality that were out of our price range. And the ones that were in our price range didn’t have the quality we were looking for. So I decided to design and build our own dock for the cottage, and it turned out amazing.
In 2019 I started my own company called Armstrong Property Management (A.P.M. for short), doing home renovations and snow removal. With A.P.M. we were asked many times “Do you do docks?”. And in 2020 we began designing and building affordable, high-quality docks. We quickly adopted the slogan “We Do Docks” as a response to these growing requests. The business grew and we bought some trailers to do the delivery ourselves because pricing for drivers was simply unaffordable. We Do Docks has grown to become its own company and now offers over 18 different dock pieces. Elliot and I still deliver every dock ourselves to ensure our customers receive the best service available.
